about DIP

DIP is an engine able to anonymize personal information occurring in clinical documents written in Spanish or Catalan. Currently, DIP detects and hides names of person as well as Spanish locations, e-mails, telephone numbers, national identity card numbers (DNI) and health card numbers.

DIP has been developed by the TALP Research Center at UPC.

In this demo, DIP allows two input formats: the online edition of a clinical document or the upload of a file containing a clinical document. In both cases, document size should be lower than 1000 characters.
